Our mission: to help exceptional children live exceptional lives. To fulfill this mission, we have developed Leka, a robotic companion to help support children with disabilities. It gives them every opportunity to progress and blossom.
Leka is a fun and educational robotic tool. Leka has been designed to capture the attention of and interact with children with neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), multiple disabilities, Down Syndrome). Both reassuring and stimulating, it naturally awakens children’s curiosity and encourages smooth interactions. It acts as a mediator between the adult and the child, while encouraging the latter to remain engaged in an activity.
Our favourite robotic companion pairs up with an iPad. On it, there are over 72 educational activities tailored to the needs of each child. The application on iPad serves to control the robot and select activities. The goal? To help children progress and improve their motor, cognitive, sensory and social skills.
Leka has several modes. You can use it for professional monitoring as well as for entertainment. The activities are grouped into skill pathways. These enable you to work on specific skills with the child and to follow his or her progress over the long term.

The Leka adventure is now open to associations, specialized centers, and private practice therapists.
Tested, validated, and co-designed with professionals in the field, we have designed Leka to assist you in your daily work.
Currently, only professionals may acquire Leka, but those who support you may not be aware of our solution. Please do not hesitate to contact them or your child's care facility so that we can introduce them to the robot and the application.

The idea of Leka was born in April 2011, during my studies, more than 10 years ago. In February 2013, I started working on the project full-time. Since that day, I have never stopped working both on and for Leka.
